Ocean Rise is a large family vacation home in Seminole, Florida, with four bedrooms and a sleeper sofa for up to 10 guests, a private pool and hot tub, and the Gulf beaches about 5 minutes away.
How does the sleeping arrangement work for 10?
Upstairs, Bedrooms 1 and 2 each have a California king, and Bedroom 3 has a queen over queen bunk with a twin trundle. Downstairs, Bedroom 4 has a queen. A sleeper sofa in the living room covers the rest of the group.
Does it work for two families or three generations?
Yes, within the limit of 10 guests. Bedroom 4 is downstairs near the half bath, and both full baths are upstairs, so ask Ren first if anyone in your group avoids stairs. The private driveway fits two vehicles, so ask her about a third car as well.
What is there for kids to do?
The home has a bunk room, a Pac-Man arcade, a Nintendo Switch, board games, a mini hoop and a custom mini putt course in a fully fenced yard. Children must be supervised at the pool and hot tub at all times.
Where does everyone eat together?
The dining room has place settings for ten or more, and a second table sits under the lanai beside the pool. The home also has a fully stocked kitchen and a full-sized grill with a prep table.
What should a group plan for?
Check-in is after 4 PM and checkout is by 10 AM. The primary guest must be 21 or older and present for the full reservation. Parties, events, smoking and pets are not allowed.
Is there a good beach day for the whole group?
Yes. The beach gear is at the house, and the Indian Shores guide covers the closest access, with restrooms and showers. Madeira Beach makes a fuller day out, with John's Pass Village and boat trips.
